Sunday

Today is Sunday. We went to church today and I'm so proud. Such a dumb thing to be proud about...but I am! Matt had to go work this morning so I fed Landon and got ready and got him ready and was almost ready to walk out the door when Matt picked us up! I was really proud. That's a lot to do! I went to church feeling like those sleep deprived thrown together mom's..but who cares?! I like just had a baby and we made it TO CHURCH!! I was so excited. So once we got there, I hadn't thought about all the people! We were swarmed at the door and I must say, I don't think I handled it the best I could have. My momma bear instincts kicked in and I swear if we hadn't left everyone and gone to sit down I was going to start mauling people and ripping out their insides! It was the weirdest thing...but all these people were around and everyone was talking at once and people were breathing near him and touching him and I just about lost it! Anyway, once we sat down we had to worry about the getting through church part...I'd hardly even thought that far! Landon was a champ. He didn't scream once and we only had to leave once to change his diaper during the hand shaking time (I was OK missing it). I brought a bottle of pumped milk and Matt fed him right at the end of church and he just did so well! I'm very proud! Here's a pic of our cute boy ready for his first church outing.


Today we also had our great friend the Stockbridge's over. It was SO nice to see them! They had not met Landon yet, so they brought their little ones and some dinner over and we hung out. Dinner was phenomenal and it was so fun to see their kiddos again. We took some awesome pics of Saylor and Landon chillin on the couch and they are so funny! Thank you guys so much for the great dinner, fellowship, and for even doing the dishes! You are wonderful. :)
