There have been some frustration and some celebration since we have been home! I am a worrier to the core. I hate that about myself, but having a baby has only intensified it. I have been so worried about feeding especially and am celebrating the fact that it now seems to be going so well! All day yesterday I was frustrated and sad because Landon was SO hungry and fussy and I knew it's because I didn't have milk yet. :( So when I woke up in the middle of the night in a TON of pain I was rejoicing! He's been so much happier today and we have been celebrating every dirty diaper and every good latch! I am just so proud of him and what a good little eater he is!! The pups have been adjusting so well and have been so gentle with both Landon and I. I am soooo thankful for this! I am able to walk around a ton more today and have actually taken a shower and blew my hair dry!! What a novelty! It has just been a great day. Last night we were not able to sleep at all until 4 am and if it had not been for my parents, I'm pretty sure we would've been exhausted and today would've been miserable. But they WERE here and it was GREAT! Matt's mom and sister have been SO great and have brought over lots of food and between them and my mom I have been eating so well since he's arrived. I'm so thankful because this way I know he is getting good food and I know that I will be able to lose this weight faster!! Boy am I ready to lose the weight! I'm a bit impatient and the swelling is not helping matters, but I am bound and determined! Our little boy loves to make noise and especially likes to "sing". He hums and makes sweet little noises to soothe himself and I just love it! He's also a messy pee-er. Holy cow! I know from reading my friend Moriah's blog that this is just typical of little boys, but it just blows our minds! Yesterday he soaked his diaper, onesie, blanket, and matt's shirt! It was hilarious. Then today he soaked his shirt and a HUGE spot on his changing table cover. It's so funny to me how much he can hold in that little body! So, there's all my randomness for the night. I'm trying to write down as much as possible so I don't forget this time!! Again, I've just never been happier and I'm so glad that we have blogs to share all of these experiences with one another!!
