So Landon's been sick this week 4 the first time ever. :( It's been heartbreaking for Matt and I both. He's just had a cold and I'm SO thankful that it's not something more serious!! But it's been really hard regardless. He's been coughing and sneezing and snorting non-stop. We didn't get much sleep for a few nights...but we made it through! Barely (apparently in my delusion I was saying some pretty crazy stuff!) Anyway. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Nate are here to help, thank God!! Aunt Sarah spent some time getting Landon to sleep yesterday and I'm so grateful that he was able to rest at least a little.
I think we are on the upswing of things now (I hope!) because he slept all night last night! Thanks to my mom friends who advised me to do the following: Spend some steam time in the bathroom, give him a baby vapor bath, put his humidifier right by his crib, give him "little noses" saline drops and THEN use the nose bulb thingy, give him some tylenol, nurse as often as possible, and BEG God to grant us some sleep! :) Well, it worked!! Thanks so much guys!
