4 month check up

We had Landon's 4 month check up yesterday. So here's a weird secret for you...I LOVE going to the doctor when all is well. Whether it's for me (like OB visits during pregnancy or physicals) or for Landon I look forward to it for like, at least a week. Haha. Anyway. We took Landon to the dr. and he was in the 10th percentile for weight again (dr. said to not expect that to change anytime soon haha) which is 12.8 lbs, he's 23rd percentile for length 24 and 1/2 in., and 40th percentile for his head circumference. He seems like he's getting SO big to me! But I guess not really compared to all the other babies out there. Haha. Anyway. I loved our doctor appt this time just like every other time because she was so awesome! She gave us so many compliments about still breastfeeding, his schedule, his tummy time and head shape, etc. You don't hear from many reputable people that you are a good parent...it's just not a compliment that people hand out much. It should be, but it's not. Why is it that we can't get a little encouragement on something that is SO incredibly important? Something that we spend so much time and thought on? Matt and I constantly try to tell each other y we think the other is such a great parent and it grows our relationship and confidence a little more each time :)I know sooo many wonderful moms who's greatest desire is to raise precious children who love Jesus with all their hearts. They have taught me invaluable lessons and I should tell them what great parents they truly are. Thank u to my "playgroup" buddies in Phx! U r all such great mom's and wives and friends. I learn so much every time I'm with u guys! I will miss u greatly now that school is starting. U r doing the most important job there is and u are amazing at it! I love u all and am SO thankful I've been blessed enough to get to know u ladies!
