Landon's first movie!

We had so much fun the other night! I had a gift card from my parents for a free movie AND popcorn! Perfect. So Matt and I decided to go and only had 2 hrs to grocery shop, get ready, and get to Sedona in time. No time to ask for babysitters...so I suggested we take him with us. Matt seemed a bit hesitant, but I convinced him by reminding him that Landon could just eat the whole movie and he would be a happy camper. Off we went! :) We decided to go see Killers and it was cute! It had some funny parts and it was a good date movie. I wasn't nervous until we walked in and everyone was looking at us like we were nuts. THEN the little acne ridden teen that always tears the tickets looked at us and handed us a little card as we walked in. It was a not so friendly reminder that if your kid starts screaming, you are no longer welcome. My nerves got a little worse...but then we sat down and started to eat popcorn and all was well. Ahhh :) A few minutes in Landon was ready to eat. So he started and the first side went great. He fell asleep and took about 40 minutes. I then handed him to Matt to burp him so I could get ready for the next side...but couldn't find the shield! (This is the first public admission...but yes, we are STILL using the shield. I've tried to take it away and he is now dependent on it and still chokes b/c of my forceful letdown :( I wish we didn't need it and I used to be able to just use it off and on...but that is no longer the case) ANYWAY. The shield was NO where. I was looking under the rows of seats with cell phones and finally found it like 20 min later (keep in mind that Landon NEVER waits that long in between sides!) so I sanitized it with Purell and soap and hot water and was ready to do the other side. But when I got back Landon was just chillin with Matt literally watching the screen and making sweet noises. He totally enjoyed it for a little bit longer, but then needed to eat :) He did so great and we totally enjoyed the whole experience! Here are some cute pics in the parking lot!
