sick
So after our super busy really fun weekend, I got mastitis. Super fun..lemme tell u. I sat on the couch bawling with a temp and had never felt so bad. I told Matt I'd seriously rather have surgery again than have that pain and horrific feeling. I was exhausted and achey and feverish and in SO much pain.I called my mom hysterical (I'm a bit dramatic I know. SORRY!) and being the wonderful mom she is, she canceled all her appointments and came up here late that night. Being the busy principal that she is, I know it was not at all easy for her! So my wonderful husband cared for me and Landon all night and then my mom took care of us all day. They were both so great. I think I would've just died w/o them! Anyway, while mom was here she let me take a nap (it was WONDERFUL!!!!!) and she cooked and cleaned and stuff. While she was doing that she discovered that Landon LOVES the laundry room. She put him in there in his bouncy seat and he passed out and slept for her for a while (he NEVER takes naps). So today I decided to try it so I could get food ready for our mommy breakfast in Phx tomorrow! He loved it again and slept so well for me! Here are some cute pix of him sleeping. :) I'm just so in love w him!

SO sorry to hear of your mastitis. i had that too. painful, painful. is it better now? i'm sure you've figured out remedies (in addition to calling mom, which is always the first thing i do too) but if you need some, let me know. i've had it way too many times.
ReplyDeleteand also, my kids slept in the bathroom with the fan on in a swing for pretty much the first year of their lives. or in the kitchen by the vent-fan in a swing (got that tip from gina.) pretty much saved my life. cribs are totally over-rated.
ya it id gone now!! Yay!! I tried a bunch of stuff, but the antibiotics and advil were miraculous!! :)Haaha. That's awesome! Matt just heard the vent fan thing the other day from Jim! Haha. I'm gunna try it today!!
