Ellie is ONE!

I cannot believe this precious sparkly little girl is a whole year old! She's been SUCH a joy and a blessing and a wonderful addition to our family. She is bubbly and happy and sweet. She's my little companion. Some days I wonder how I ever got along without her.

New things - you got two more teeth up top so now 6 total. You are standing independently and walking with push toys but not alone yet. You are finally sleeping through the night and we are rejoicing. You started "cuddling" and laying your head on us, playing peekabo, babbling a lot and giving high fives. You've started saying some words like Landon and light and dog.

Health - this was a ROUGH month. Right after your birthday you got hand foot and mouth and we ended up in the ER because your fever was so high and you were so lethargic and no one knew WHY. A few days later, the blisters came and it all made sense. We were scared! From that virus you got a "sinus" and ear infection and did two different antibiotics to kick it. Then you had surgery (which you TOTALLY rocked by the way) and now a mild cold. ROUGH. I hope this is the last of it for a while! You're recovering so well from your surgery. It was a week ago today and you would never know you had surgery unless you looked at your incision. You are amazing sweet girl!

930 - down for nap with a bottle
10 - I wake you and we have a snack
11ish - lunch
12 - down for nap with a bottle
230 - I wake you and you get a sippy
315 - snack time
530ish - dinner
630 - jammies and nurse and go to bed

Growth - you are still our chunkiest baby and we LOVE it. You were 21 lbs at the Urologist the other day. You're in 18 month clothing, size 4 diapers and need size 5 for your overnight diapers!!!

Likes - She loves music (and especially clapping to it), her family and siblings, her milk, being tickled, eating, waving, bathtime, animals and stuffed animals and toys with lights or noise.

Dislikes - Her carseat, being alone, being confined, eating something that's different from what we are eating

Ellie Bellie, we just love you SO. You are so sweet and firey and spunky and full of life. You are so fun and just precious! We are so thankful for you and that we get to be your parents. Thanks for being awesome!
