5 month old Ellie

Ellie Bellie! I cannot believe how fast you are growing up! You are so sweet and feisty and fun. I love all your chitter chatter and giggles and smiles lately. You are an absolute joy!!! We are so thankful for you and have savored so much of this time with you while you are little!

New things - you roll very quickly from your tummy to your back now when you want to! You are now unswaddled and sleeping in your crib instead of the rock n play. You seem VERY interested in our food. You smack your lips and make funny noises after eating.

Health - once we finished up that second antibiotic your ear cleared up and you've been quite healthy since! I think you may be getting teeth, but so thankful it's not sickness!

Schedule -

730 - awake and nurse
9 - nap
1030 - meds
11 - nurse
1230 -nap
230 - awake and nurse
430/5 - meds and catnap
530ish - awake and eat
7 - jammies and nurse and in bed around 730

Ellie still is not back to sleeping through the night. It'll happen again one day right? ;)

Growth - Ellie's in mostly 6 months clothing now and is moving into size 2 diapers. We are using up the rest of our 1s as long as they fit, but need 2s next! :)

Likes - She likes nursing, her siblings, being talked to, playing on a blanket with toys, being outside, and looking at herself in a mirror.

Dislikes- She doesn't love the ergo right now or waiting to eat after her meds. She doesn't love bottles but will take them once she gets desperate enough.

Oh sweet sweet Ellie. You are just such a joy. I'm so thankful we are able to be your parents and take care of you. All of us, all three of your siblings included, just love interacting with you and having you as a part of our family. Your siblings often say that they cannot wait till you can walk and talk and play with them. They so badly want you to just come and be a part of the fun! I look forward to seeing you grow and change these coming days and getting to know your little personality more and is continues to come out bit by bit! We love you forever and always!
