Ellie's 1 week old!

Oh my sweet and precious girl! Ellie is just the sweetest most content baby ever. Here are some things we've learned about her the past week.
* She's very strong even though she's tiny
* She loves to snuggle and sleep on us
* She is too sleepy to do much of anything unless we wake her for it
* Ellie has the most beautiful eyes and soft little dark hairs
* She HATES diaper changes and clothing changes too
* So far she shows zero signs of reflux/intolerances
* She's so precious and bitty and loves to be all curled up with her legs crossed underneath her
* She's a great latcher

This transition has been a lot like adding Lucas in. Pretty smooth and seamless. Lucas had a rough week but he seems to be completely in love with her already. I'm sad and so is he that I cannot pick him up so that's been tough. But adding her in has seemed like cake.

Ellie eats every 3 hrs during the day because I make her. She tries to go 4-5 hour stretches at night and I do not like that. She's so tiny I'd be more comfortable with her doing 3-4 hr stretches. She takes awesome naps and sleeps well at night. She sleeps in the newborn napper on the pack n play and usually one stretch at night she sleeps on Matt's chest on the couch. It's so weird to have a baby that just sleeps.

We love you so much our precious girl. I'm savoring every moment I can with you and your sweetness. I'm so thankful you get to round out our family and be our baby. <3 nbsp="" p="">
