Lucas is 14 months

Baby Bookie is your name around here the last few months. Occasionally it's Baby Bookes for short :) We all love you to pieces. You are such an integral little piece of our family puzzle! You are so smart and funny and curious! You keep your momma ON HER TOES.

Health - well baby buddy, you are on antibiotics again this month! I'm so sorry!!! I think having two siblings in preschool is hard on you. This time it was a double ear infection. Poor guy! You've been a champ though and don't seem too bothered by it. You failed a dairy trail this month, BUT it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. I'm so excited about the progress you've made!

Schedule - Your schedule is kinda funky! You are doing a 30 minute morning nap some days with a longer afternoon nap and other days just one long nap. Most days you are doing
730 - awake
1230 - nap
3/330 - awake
7 - bedtime (he usually can't quite make it to 730 on one nap days)

Eating- Lucas is a CHAMP eater. He's hilarious. He eats tons and tons of food! He's doing 20ish oz of goat's milk each day and eating tons of things. Basically anything that doesn't have cheese, yogurt or milk (unless the milk is baked in like waffles or bread) or a lot of soy or tree nuts he eats it! He eats most dinners with us at night. I just make dairy free dinner which isn't a big deal. I'm so happy he's able to eat and eats so well! He loves his milk, all berries, Kix cereal, and roasted veggies like broccoli and asparagus are some of his favorite things.

Growth - He continues to grow well! He's in 18 month jammies and 12 month clothing. 18 month rompers/shirts will be necessary soon to cover that sweet little belly!

Changes - Lucas now has 8 teeth! He's added new words and signs and stuff. He seems to be at that point where he's just rapidly learning and changing and growing and it's all so fast!!! He's also using all sippies and not more bottles. I pushed it, but it happened quickly and made me kinda sad!! Being a mother is weird.

Words/signs - He says and signs thank you, dog, and all done. He wave and claps and tries to point but with his whole hand? He says ta-da and lifts his hands up lol. He says mooo, and uh-oh and Bubba and Yaya. He's really good at trying to say things when we ask him to. He's just such a different kid than Laney!

Likes - He loves his lovey and paci and his mama. He likes walks, electronics he knows he's not supposed to touch, anything social, touch-n-feel books, dogs, playing in the backyard and the park.

Dislikes - He doesn't love getting his diaper changed, loud/sudden noises, being told no, getting his face wiped, being alone, being confined to one space, letting me work!
