11 Months

I cannot believe you are almost a year old! How did that happen!?! You are such a big and independent boy. You crack us up. You are fun and funny and opinionated. We sure do love you!

Health -  Oh sweet boy. The Aerodigestive clinic decided you needed a scope and a chest X-ray after your appointment. Your X-ray was clear. Your scope is Tuesday (the day you actually turn 11 months) and we will know more a week after that date they claim. Until then, you are one big mystery.

Schedule -
730 - wake, bottle(8 oz), play
830 - breakfast (we've been feeding foods to essentially mess up his system this past week for the scope)
9 - pack N play time
10 - nap
11- I wake him and meds
1145 - bottle(6 oz)
1230 - lunch
1 - sibling play time
2- nap
4- wake and bottle (6 oz)
6 - dinner
7 - bath, pjs, bottle (7 oz)
730 - bedtime

Eating - We still do not have one food I can put on a list and say that he's passed it. Everything seems to affect him in some way or another. It's hard. I sure hope we get some answers soon. He's doing great with his bottles and started drinking some water our of a straw sippy this month. SO thankful to not be dealing with feeding aversions any more.

Growth - Lucas hasn't grown much. I sure hope he's gaining ok. He's still in 9-12 clothes and size four diapers and 12 month sleepers. Still six teeth. He looks really long these days! He is wearing size 4-5 shoes.

Changes- He took a step or two today! I can't believe it. SO big. I'm guessing walking is coming real soon here. He's been growing lots of hair this month! He may have the most hair out of our three at this age and it's so cute.

Likes - He really likes his lovey and paci. His momma! Total momma's boy. This tiny little flashlight that belongs on a keychain is his favorite toy at the moment. He loves phones and remotes and ipads and buttons, basically anything he's not supposed to have. He loves sticking his face under the running bath water!? It's bizarre and funny. He really likes the idea of eating and loves the dogs.

Dislikes - Lucas isn't super into playing with allowed toys, sun, wind, people taking anything he wants, anyone looking in or cleaning his ears, getting his face/nose wiped or loud/sudden noises. He cries when each new worship song begins in church! We just start him off in nursery now to save some tears :)

We just love you to pieces our sweet baby. You are hilarious and ornery. You exude personality and cheer. Our whole family just adores you. God certainly placed you in the right family. We think you are awesome! I'm excited to be celebrating your birthday and Thanksgiving and Christmas with you this next month. Lots of last firsts left. :)
