Bebe Yucas is four months old!

Laney called Lucas Bebe Yucas and it's kinda stuck ;)

Sweet sweet Lucas! You are just precious. You are the happiest baby I've ever been around. You smile and giggle and talk all the time. You love people. Any social situation is your favorite. We are SO blessed to have you in our family. Every one of us is just so in love with our sweet little man!!!

Health - This has been a tough, tough month. We've seen two GIs and are scheduled to see another next week. We've had a swallow study and got a diagnosis of dysphasia. Tried tons of thickener and failed them all. Saw a wonderful feeding therapist. Are trying to schedule a scope. He's been spitting up blood this month hence the scope. He was without meds for a week because insurance had to go through the approval process again and took their sweet time. In that time he stopped eating and cried a LOT. Now we have meds back. He's happily eating again. Hasn't spit up blood yet this week and generally seems to be doing well. He still has this weird rash around his mouth/chin area. No idea what that's from though.

Schedule-
730 - med
8 - eat 5-6 oz and play
9 - nap
11/1130 - wake, eat 4-6 oz and play
1230 - nap
230 - wake, eat 4-6 oz and play
415 - nap
530 - wake, eat 4 oz and play
730 - eat 4 oz and bedtime
10 - dreamfeed 4ish oz

Lucas has yet to even kind of sleep through the night. I hope he's like his sister and this is the magic month! :) He's still up once every night between 3:24 and 3:31 every.single.night. Can we say habitual waking?? :)

Eating - Lucas is on elemental formula still. I stopped pumping a few days back because the formula is clearly what's working well right now. He should be eating about 32 oz based on his weight. He was eating that before this crazy month. Now we haven't gotten close to that in a long time. But hoping that's in our future.

Growth - Lucas is in size 2 diapers. Size 3 overnights for night time. He mostly wears 6-9 month clothes!!! Crazy. He was 25th % for weight and height and 50th% for his head circumference. He is working on two teeth we think. Still loves to roll belly to back. And seems to be attempting back to belly but gets stuck.

Likes- Baby boy loves to be held and cuddled. He's the sweetest cuddler ever!! He also loves the tv?! I don't remember our other kids even noticing it till much older. He loves his family. Grandpa is certainly his favorite person right now!! He is just so comfortable and at ease with him. :) He loves baths and family walks and sucking on his fingers/hands. He also loves his lovey just like our other two kids! He loves his siblings. They sing and talk to him if he's sad and we are in the car or doing something where I cannot get to him that second. He loves it! He seriously just loves people and social interactions in general.

Dislikes - Lucas hates the wind! He acts like he cannot breathe when it hits his face. So bizarre. He doesn't like to be alone unless he's sleeping. But at night he shares a room with Landon even then! Lucas doesn't love the car. Not sure if it's a dislike necessarily. But it's not his favorite. For whatever reason he doesn't like his bumbo at all! Such a bummer. That's seriously all I can come up with!!

Precious boy! You are SO stinking loved. We just want to eat you up all day long. Your sweet giggles and smiles are priceless. I love being your mama. Love working to try to help you feel better. I feel honored and so blessed to be trusted by the Lord to be your mom. We are excited to continue watching you grow this month! Love you sweet buddy!
