This pregnancy has been a weird one! I was reallllly sick weeks 6-14 and then magically wasn't. No longer needed Zofran and felt great. I have rarely felt sick since then. In fact, I've hardly felt pregnant at all since the sickness left! I am WAY more emotional though :)
I've hardly had cravings although pickles and rainbow chip cake have popped up now and again!
I've gained 8 lbs so far :0 That's a bit more than I'd like at this point. But I'll take it.
I had spotting/bleeding from weeks 7-17 or so from some spot I had. I have pretty much thought this whole time until recently that there's no way this baby is ok. From my lack of symptoms to lack of feeling movement (anterior placenta!) to the bleeding. I've just felt weird the whole time. Then.....
We went to find out gender and we were told most likely girl. Bought some fun girly things. Then after my little car wreck the other day we went in for our anatomy ultrasound and to make sure all was well and we were told most likely boy, but not sure. What?! lol. So we are scheduled for another appointment on the 23rd and were told we could find out for sure then if we'd like. But we are considering just letting it be a surprise. We've been excited both times so apparently we don't care. :)
I've still been running 12-15 miles a week and feel really good about that. It's helped me stay sane and feel more myself this time. I'm just beginning to get hints of that awful sciatic pain and hope it will stay at bay for a few more weeks!
I was really uncertain about our birth plan and how to work things out this time, but I've been praying a ton and have felt very peaceful. I'm hoping for an all natural VBAC in Phx, but feel oddly calm this time if it didn't work out. I guess that's an OK place to be in huh? ;)
Well, that's all for now! We are working on baby names and I'm trying to get some wintry newborn boy stuff just in case and then we should be just about set!
