Have you heard of her? She is one of the greatest things that has happened to me as a stay at home mom on a budget! She's helped me learn to coupon, meal plan, budget, pay for things with cash, make money from home, and not go further into debt. But she also is a great mom and wife. She's big into scheduled cleaning and keeping her house in great shape. I agree with her in believing as a stay at home mom that that is a big part of my job. Since I've been done with school I've been taking it more and more serious and have had completely different standards for our home! :)
So when I started staying home I knew what I wanted, but just wasn't quite sure how to get there. I knew I wanted to work on things piece by piece. We used to just take a Saturday and tear the house apart and spend the whole day cleaning. But the older L got the harder that was to do and actually get anything accomplished! This way I do a few things every day and get the weekends to actually just hang out with my husband. It's great. So while I was browsing Moneysavingmom.com and learning so so so many things, I found this awesome cleaning sheet! http://moneysavingmom.com/downloads/household-management-forms Ok, there's actually like ten. I loooovvveee lists. This totally keeps me on top of everything and even has lists for things I just need to do monthly, a couple times a year, etc.
I know not everyone is a list person. But I thought I'd share these just in case they'd help someone else as much as they've helped me! Also, you should just check out her whole website when you have time. She has phenomenal advice and has played a huge part in us becoming Debt Free. :) (Yes, we started Financial Peace University and I'm kinda in love with Dave Ramsey)
