Our precious Ellie Bellie. I cannot believe you are so big. How did this happen? I just really love you so much. I constantly wish time could slow down. When we are nursing I try to soak in your smell and your chub and your sweet noises. I know this time is short and you're our last baby! I hope you read this one day and just know how much we've loved being your parents. You are an incredible blessing.
New things- You started saying Dada at eight months and began crawling right before you turned 9 months. You stopped sleeping in your sleep sack because it warmed up and you grew and we couldn't find any of the longer ones in the packed boxes. You did great and didn't mind a bit. You have two teeth now and are a champ with solids. You've tried just about every fruit and vegetable under the sun. You love to eat with your fingers now so you've been eating cheerios and bananas and mum-mums and puffs and rice and oats and all kinds of big kid food!
Health - Poor sweet girl. I think your siblings got you sick a LOT this winter. You had 5 ear infections from December to April and the ENT said no more. We put your tubes in in the middle of April and you've been doing great since.
Schedule -
You are such a big girl now! You need much longer wake times suddenly. You've been doing
630 - wake and nurse
7- solids
9 - nap
10- I wake you and you get meds
1030 - nurse
1130 - lunch
1245 - nap
245 - wake and meds
315 - nurse
5 - bottle
530 - dinner
630 - nurse and in bed.
Growth - She's in size 3 diapers and 12-18 month clothing. I have no idea on her size because we haven't had her well visit yet.
Likes - she likes nursing, her siblings/grandparents/parents, playing outside, being held, remotes and phones, bath time, being tickled and playing in the box.
Dislikes - She doesn't like for me to leave the room, waiting to eat, getting her face cleaned, getting her nose wiped, etc.
We love you so much sweetness. You are spunky and sweet and precious and silly. You don't have a cautious bone in your body and you seem loyal and free-spirited. We adore you. Happy 9 months!
