Ah! I've been so bad about blogging anything about this sweet little baby3. Consider yourself warned! I will refer to this precious one as "it" and baby3 a lot because I just am not sure what else to call it! :)
This pregnancy has been so different! I'm 31 weeks now, almost 32. Which means we have two more months left until I'm full term! It's gone by super fast this time and I've been way less miserable ;) I had awful sciatic pain with both kids and a lot of contractions with Laney. This time, my biggest complaint is just being big! I don't have sickness or terrible heartburn. I've been sleeping well and everything. Someone must be praying for me :)
This baby is different than our other two kids too! Ours were both wild in utero. This baby seems so calm and sweet and gentle. I really hope it comes out that way :) Landon and Laney very much were the babies they seemed to be in utero!
I just went off dairy a few days ago for this sweet baby. It will not prevent a thing as far as intolerances go. BUT our GI said it will be helpful to not have a baby born already in pain and that makes a lot of sense. So I'll allow it to clear the 8 weeks now from my system rather than the 8 weeks I have a screaming newborn :) If you get a chance, please pray for this sweet babe and our family. My biggest fear this time has been having a sick baby again. Whether it has Laney's same issues or others, it's been heavy on my heart. I really struggled feeling like an awful mom when Laney was born. I was so tired and emotional and I felt like Landon was neglected and he was too little to understand any of it. It was just plain HARD. So please pray for our family. That our kids will be prepared for whatever lies ahead and that Matt and I's hearts would be ready. We were SO not ready with Laney.
We got to see a 3D ultrasound last week and baby3 looks like it has Laney's same adorable cheeks and everything else about it looks like Landon! So now I'm of course thinking it must be a boy! But we will see :)
We go meet the new OBs in Flagstaff next week and will likely be delivering up there if all goes well and have another VBAC. I'm really excited about the birth/nursing part. :) Hope that meeting goes well and we feel comfortable. It's so hard after seeing Steph because really, no one is like her!!
Well, that's about all I have on baby3 for now. We are hoping to pick out some names before the hospital and find a new car before I go into labor. But we still have two whole more months ;) So I'll just leave you with a belly pic of us at 30 weeks.
