Health - We still don't have this whole thing figured out. We are trying though! She's on 7mg of Prevacid once a day and 1.2 mls of Zantac. She was 12.5 at her 4 month and got weighed today and is 13.12. So that is progress! Hoping to get some meat on her here soon once we figure out what her allergies are exactly.
Sleep - She takes 3 naps each day. They are each about 2 hours long. Sometimes the last one is more like an hr. But 2 hrs is pretty typical. She's still sleeping through the night. She goes down around 8, has a dreamfeed at 10 or 11 and sleeps through again till 8. We get up and reinsert a paci in the early morning sometimes. But I'm ok with that! And as long as she isn't sick it's only one time. :)
Disposition - She is SOOOOO chill. She loves to sit back and watch everything and everyone. She rarely makes an unhappy peep. She loves to talk lately and so she makes lots of noise! But they are just happy noises! She LOVES her mama. It's soooo great. To Landon, Dad has always been the best. The favorite. Mom was always second rate at best (lower if a grandparent is around!!!). But not to Laney! She adores me. She laughs at me all the time and gives me the biggest smiles. If she's sad, she wants me. I can make it all better. I LOVE it. She's so my sweet girl. I think and pray all the time about our future relationship.
Growth - Laney's gotten even longer and leaner this month! Her 6-9 sleepers are almost too short! What on earth!? She is mostly in 6-9 onesies and shirts, but 3-6 bottoms still. Her feet are still ridiculously tiny. We cannot keep shoes on her for anything! She has soooo many adorable pairs of shoes. Hoping she can wear them soon! Her foot still fits in a size 1 shoe!
Changes/milestones - Laney is sitting unassisted now! We've really been pushing and working on it because it is supposed to help so much with the reflux. She still topples over and I don't let her sit alone yet. But she's so big!!! She has started moving all over. She's definitely in that stage where you have no idea how they ended up where they are, but aren't crawling or anything yet. She's started pulling her legs up underneath her these last few days. I'm guessing that knee/hand rocking will start this month. She loves her new highchair! She sits at the table with us while we eat meals together and just plays and watches us. It's so nice to have her up there with us and be together as a family, even though she's not really eating yet.
Laney is just the sweetest and most precious little baby ever. She is SO easy. Like it's ridiculous. If she weren't sick, it wouldn't even be fair b/c of how easy she is. I'm so happy to have her as part of our family. We are just so in love!! I hate her growing up because I so badly want her to be my baby forever! But I'm so excited to watch her grow into her own little person. Being a mama this go-around has been so fun. I'm much more sure of myself and the steps we take. Even in the uncharted waters of her sickness. I feel like I always can listen to my mommy heart and feel-out what we think will be best for our family. It's so incredible how God just gives you these innate abilities to be a parent! We are still searching for God's will in all of this and trying to figure out how to get Laney to a healthy state. Please be praying for us that we can identify and successfully eliminate her allergies and that her reflux will heal and resolve. Thanks for praying over and loving our Laneybug!
