Our little Laneybug is 3 months!

I cannot believe Delaney is 3 months old. She is seeming so big all of the sudden. Like she's moving from infant to baby very quickly!!

Here are some fun things about Laney

Health - This past month we have solidified that she has both CMPI and Silent Reflux. It's sad. But at least we've figured it out! I'm off all dairy (obvious and hidden) and she's on prevacid twice a day and as long as we stick to this it's all good. We go to a GI at the end of March just to make sure there's nothing else we could be doing to make her more comfortable and also to talk about a weaning plan for getting her off these meds as soon as possible! There are really only two difficult parts for me in all this. One is me checking all the labels and looking up everything before it goes in my mouth. The second is that to give her medicine she has to not have eaten for the last hr and a half and cannot eat for 30 minutes afterward. Try telling a baby they can't eat for 30 more minutes! Luckily she's soooo laid back that it generally isn't a big deal :) Landon would not have stood for that AT ALL!

Eating - She went through a wicked growth spurt this past month. It lasted a week and a half! She literally ate every 2-3 hrs all day and all night for that whole week and a half! Now she's back to eating every 3-3.5 hrs during the day. She's definitely moving more and more towards a 3.5 hr schedule. Of course there are times when she's hungrier more often than this. But mostly this is the trend. I'm so thankful she's on a great schedule because it makes giving her meds a lot easier on us both! At night she's taking a dreamfeed around 1030 and then doesn't eat or wake again until 7. We are almost to her sleeping completely through the night! I'm so proud of her!! We haven't even sleep trained yet. Just set up a good schedule and she's dropped feedings and spaced things out on her own :) Big girl! This is such a drastic improvement from last month!
Sleep - She takes 3 2 hr naps and then a cat nap in the evening every day. She goes to bed at 8 and right now sleeps through until 7. I'm guessing she will sleep through until 8 soon. I cannot believe how easy she is!!!! Of course if she's going through a growth spurt or having a flare up none of this even comes close to being a reality. But the longer I'm off dairy and she's on her meds the more and more normal this all becomes :)

Disposition - still my angel baby :) She only cries when she's pooped (of course she's a girl! She doesn't like being dirty :) ) or when I take the boob out to feed her. She's calm as can be until she sees it and then attacks! She is such a sweet little cuddler and I'm very thankful for this. Landon was independent from day 1. We actually have newborn pictures of him pushing away from me! I love that she wants to snuggle almost anytime.
Growth - Laney is still SO big! We cannot get over how much bigger she is than Landon was at this age! She hardly fits in 3-6 month shirts, onesies, or PJs anymore. Most of them are already packed up and there are a few different random things of different brands that still fit. But will not for much longer! Everything else is 6-9 and she fits in it well! It's nuts! Her pants and skirts are still 3-6 months. She is soooo long! Her feet are almost to the edge of her carseat already. She has the cutest chunky cheeks and thighs. I just LOVE the chunk!!!

Changes - She's no longer in cloth. She was having horrible rashes. I think from her sensitive skin, her acid reflux, and her meds. It was just a bad combination and we could not work it out. So she's in luvs just like her big brother now :) She's still rolling belly to back all the time. She holds her head up like SUCH a pro. She loves to sit up on our laps and "stand" when we hold her. She loves to sit in the bumbo and does a great job holding herself up. She's almost rolling over back to belly. She gets a little stuck. But I catch her practicing all the time! She's no longer sleeping with a paci because she was waking up every hour for it! So we bailed on it. :) She's also no longer getting swaddled. Even if we do swaddle her she refuses to go to sleep until she breaks though it. So different than her brother! We swaddled him until he was like 6 months old! She's getting faster and faster at eating! yay! She's averaging about 8-10 min a side. SoOOO much better than before.
