Feeding -
* You still love milk and are drinking about 20-24 oz a day!
* You've kinda gotten into this weird eating pattern. You are now eating 3 meals and two snacks every day. None of them are large, but you are still eating a lot over the course of the day.
* Favs right now are berries, the pureed fruit pouches, teething biscuits, and anything you seem to be in the mood for. You haven't become picky per say, but you only want things WHEN you want them!
Sleep -
You are still sleeping 12 hr nights and taking one nap each day. Your naps lately have been 3-3.5 hrs long! What a great sleeper you are! Mom hardly even knows what to do with that big chuck of time!
Transportation -
* You are so wildly independent! You run and walk and climb on couches and your new toddler bed (you won't sleep in it for months still, but you love to climb on and off it). You can also climb the little stairs at Grammy and Grandpa's quite well now.
Playtime -
* You are now doing 45 minutes of pack N play time each morning. (Although today you fell asleep while playing?! haha).
* You love playing outside. You play with your water table, quad, sticks and rocks, the bucket of sand, your outside swing, and Annie's water bowl out there :) You are ALL boy and have to take a bath when we get inside because you are covered in dirt and scratches!
* Lately you've been finding books and quietly sitting down to read. It's adorable.
Vocab/sign -
You are such a big boy!! You have started saying "fish" and "all done" most recently. So cute! So now you say: all done, fish, bye, daddy, mama, Annie, doggie, and eye. You now sign: book, duck, dog, please, more, all done, and waves.
Other fun things -
* A few nights ago you got your very first hair cut! It was like 4 snips and only a tiny patch of hair in the back, but you HATED it. You would think we were torturing you! Your hair looks so much better now tho!
* You went on your first canoe trip with dad the other day. You hated every moment of it. Haha.
* Tantrums have begun. Oh my are you strong-willed! Your mom and dad are trying to figure out how to deal haha. We thought we'd have a few more months of preparation before this hit us! :)
Oh Landon! You are so precious to us. I've been hyper aware of the fact lately that we only have a bit longer to soak up our time as our little family of 3. Family time at our house is the best. I cannot imagine loving two people more. We are really trying to be the best parents we know how to be. We will never be perfect, but we sure do love you and are really working at it. Trying to raise you in Christ is the most spectacular thing I've experienced thus far. We pray for you and your little heart every day. I cannot wait to see the amazing young man that you are going to grow up to be!
