We started a new tradition as our family of four. Yes, I said four. Lincoln has found a new home and is really happy there. So four. We went to see Christmas lights one night in our PJs. Annie panted the entire time and was hot in her sweater, Landon screamed the entire times (I think b/c it was dark and he didn't want to fall asleep yet) even though it was still an hr or two before bedtime, and Matt and I held hands and ooh and ahhd and had a blast. We decided it's just the first of many traditions that we will love and our children will hate. :)
We met the Munro's for our annual family Christmas. We went to a Mexican restaurant and ate delciouso food and exchanged gifts for the babies. So much fun! Abbie and Landon LOVE each other. They are such precious cousins. Landon got the sweet magnet letters and an "I spy" type book by baby Einstein. He's obsessed and wants to read, smack, and play with it all the time! We had so much fun and Landon loved opening his very first Christmas present. :) We always just have the most precious memories with you guys!
Then Landon dressed up as the cutest little Christmas bear ever and we went Christmas caroling with the youth group. We go every year to a few nursing homes and sing and hand out ornaments. It's one of my favorite things we do each year. Landon loved all the music and singing and clapped and sat in our new Sevensling very nicely for the hour or so we were there. He was such a trooper.
We also went to see Santa! Santa! I know him! *but really, he's our neighbor. We actually do!* Jay was such a fantastic santa! Landon did really well with him. No tears, but some very inquisitive faces! Haha. We went to see him while he was visiting at my school. It was a perfect place! No lines or fees (yes, I'm a little bit cheap) but on top of all that, I just think that Jay is the best Santa ever! He's jolly and deep voiced and his suit is superb! It was a fun experience!
