9 months -almost

Well, it's still two days away, but this week is crazy so I'm writing it today! You are 9 months now and SO much has been happening! I feel like I cannot even keep up with each new thing you are doing.

Feeding -
You are eating 3-4 solid foods a day. Generally 4-6 oz of food at each sitting!! You've tried some "big boy" food this month. Toast, mashed potatoes, pudding, yobaby yogurt (your absolute favorite), and meat. You've had pureed turkey and chicken this month. You hated it at first, but really enjoy them now. You are nursing (or eating pumped milk) 4 times a day right now. It's fantastic. Because of our thrush since August mom is having a tough time with breastfeeding. Hopefully it'll be gone soon and we can enjoy our time together again. You are starting to like your sippy and are drinking about an oz out of it total in a day. Not much, but you don't really need much. I just want you to be a good water drinker like your mom!

Sleeping- You are such a fantastic sleeper still. What a sweet boy you are when it comes to sleep! You know your momma needs it! :) You are slowly moving over to 2 naps a day, but if they total less than 3 hours you will generally take another one in the late afternoon. You need 4 hours a day of sleep and 12-13 hrs of sleep each night. I seriously couldn't ask for a better sleeper. Generally you take a nap at 10 and another one around 130 and sleep from 730-8or9ish.

Moving - As of this morning, you are now crawling on your hands and knees! So big! You still army crawl when you are in a hurry or excited about something, but I'm sure you will switch to just hands and knees soon. You started pulling yourself up on everything all the time this month. You've gotten some good owies on your head. You are fearless and you know exactly what you want. There is no hesitation. If you want to move you try to walk or just fall over so you can crawl! It's insane and very scary for your parents!! You are walking along the couch and coffee table now and laugh and squeal because you know how big you are! My favorite is that when we come get you up every morning and from each nap you are standing there bouncing in your crib (or pack n play). It's so precious.

Play time - Books, remotes, and cell phones remain your toys of choice. Your papa gave you an old Blackberry (he cleaned it out and took out the battery) and it's your favorite. You don't love your exerciser anymore and cry every time we put you in. You are doing better with your Pack N Play time now and will stay in there and play for 10-15 min at a time!

Health - We took you to the Pediatrician to see if you still have thrush or not and she said you look fantastic. Everything looks perfect and she was shocked by your verbal skills! She is very impressed by how healthy you are! You've only had one cold ever and no infections. We are so proud! Hopefully we can keep you healthy! You weigh 17 lbs now! Such a big boy to us! But still in the bottom 5th percentile to the rest of the world. Haha. You also have 4 teeth that are all through and two more that have popped but the whites aren't through yet. You are an incredible teether. You don't cry or fuss or anything when the teeth are coming through, you just take incredibly long naps. You are awesome!! Hopefully all the rest will come as smoothly as these 4!!

We love you so much sweet boy! Can't wait to see what this next month brings!
